Since its founding in 2011 Urbanara produces high-quality home textiles and home accessories. In doing so, a responsible approach to nature is at the forefront of the entire manufacturing process for the German company. With the motivation to develop innovative and sustainable production options, Urbanara works with leftovers from the food industry for the new "Sierra" collection. The "EarthColors process" means the dyeing of textiles with the help of food scraps: almond shells are used to create the color "Earth Oak", orange peels are processed into the warm "Earth Sand", and palm scraps create the cool "Earth Stone "*-*tone. In the process, 100 percent of the raw material is converted into one of the Earth Tones, so there is no superfluous waste compared to conventional dye production.

The entire "Sierra" collection includes blankets and pillowcases in a light and airy Gauzé look, woven from GOTS-certified organic cotton.
