Stylish suitcases: Traveling with Away

Hand on heart, who has stylish suitcases and stylish luggage at home? Personally, I've always been one of those people who were reluctant to dig their bags and suitcases out of the basement when it came time to travel again. Fortunately, things are quite different now and two new gems have moved into both my and Julia's luggage shelves: The Away The Large and the Away The Bigger Carry-On.

For far too long I've been ashamed of my ole Tchibo suitcase and Julia has also been traveling well and truly with a turquoise, square something as I affectionately call it. If you are so focused on good interior as we are as an interior blog, other things somehow often fall by the wayside. But lately it goes for us more and more often on trips and a "at home hui, on the road pfui" we want to risk there in any case.

Accompanying us as of now are The Large in a dark shade of green and The Bigger Carry-On in classic black.

The Large lives up to its name. It is so large that you can actually live out of it and that is not an exaggeration. Therefore, this time everything may with us, which is dear and cutbacks must not be made for the first time! Especially now that the summer vacation is coming, that means: flippers, children's toys and hammock? In with it! Julia even packed her son's running bike for her vacation, no kidding. What I particularly like? That despite the size and sturdy cover, it's still pleasantly light.

The The Bigger Carry-On is perfect for shorter trips, although even with it you're no less organized than in The Large thanks to handy interior pockets. And it still offers a lot of space, I personally will probably use it for trips around five to seven days. But my absolute highlight is the battery with USB port to charge the phone, Ipod or other electronic. Sorry, but how ingenious is that please? How often have I made myself at airports in search of sockets or stood in front of any lockable shelf compartments in which you can put your phone to charge it. Strange thing somehow. Then I prefer to have my cell phone on my suitcase and charge it conveniently. Big plus for me.
