The high art of wrapping

ADVERTISEMENT| Christmas time is gift time! And every year we are again in demand as packaging artists. A beautifully wrapped gift with a personal touch is already half the battle! With a few tricks of the trade, gifts can be wonderfully wrapped. Jules recently gave a workshop at Juniqe headquarters on the topic of gift wrapping, or as they used to say in the old days. And as always, everything stands and falls with wonderful paper. Juniqe has put out beautiful papers especially for the holiday season, if you order by December 20, they will arrive just in time for the festivities.

At the workshop, Jules made boxes out of paper. They are folded in a few steps and are especially suitable for small surprises, chocolates or jewelry. Also a pom-pom or with watercolor drawn gift tags are quite wonderful and especially easy and quick to implement. We have now become very keen on Christmas and gifts get and wrap. We hope you do too! How to make a box like this:

1. you need a square. 2. fold over opposite corners to make a cross (fold) from corner to corner. 3. fold all corners to the center. 4th &5th Now fold the opposite edges to the center. Open them again. Now fold the other opposite edges to the center. 6. 6. open the last fold again 7. cut four times the last fold to the center with scissors. 8. fold over the flaps 9. repeat all this once more. The box is ready.
